ABOUT ME

I’m Julia, a Belgian native who loves to explore remote and off-the-beaten places.

My way of travelling is not conventional in that it is not a given I stop at every highlight the country has to offer, however discover mostly by listening to proud locals leading the way to the lesser known parts of their homeland. This way you’ll be immersed in traditional cultures, learn more about the unique history identifying each country, and above all taste delicious homemade delicacies.
 

Last year I spent three months converting my own van into a charming ‘house on wheels’. Travelling with your house tucked away behind you, gives you the opportunity to halt whenever and wherever you please to take in the beauty of nature and its surroundings.

Before I embarked on my year-long trip through Europe, I’ve already travelled a lot and discovered different countries in Europe and Southeast Asia. Over the years my passion for hiking and trekking in the mountains has only grown. The more isolated the better.
